Consistency Kills Competition

Consistency, the most underrated driver of performance and achieving high level success. Above talent, above hard work, above motivation, sits consistency, it is king.

During the special operations portion of my career, my skills and tactical proficiency skyrocketed, why? We simply trained more consistently. We consistently put more time in to the fundamentals of move, shoot, communicate, and medicate.

Look at the UFC, who is in the top 10? It's the fighters who train outside of camps and consistently work on their skill sets year round. The fighters who only train during fight camps are training hard, but they're not training consistently, hence the lack of results.

It is the same across any major sport. 9 times out of 10, the greats and the GOATS are the ones still putting in work during the off season. So ask yourself, are your lack of results due to a lack of consistency?

The answer, is usually yes.

The average person goes to the gym for a few weeks or months before abandoning their goals and dreams of change because the results didn't come fast enough. Short term thinking will derail your mission faster than anything else. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Yes you want to see results within the first few weeks and months, which you will with any decent training program, but big results will take time.

A great tool to help defeat the short term mentality is tracking your training. When you track your training you create a catalogue of progress, an undeniable stack of evidence that you are moving in the right direction. This is a great tool to keep you motivated and on track.

If you're looking to take the guesswork out of your training and you want to be more consistent with the work you're putting in, it is our mission to help you.
